I love mushrooms. Love love love. Sure I like eating them, but what I really love about mushrooms is their form. The whole world seems contained underneath the cap of a tiny velvety fungus.
The microcosm of a mushroom is also reminiscent of a piece of coral drifting in the currents. The gills of the mushroom slowly wave and flex as the fungus grows, develops, spreads its spores and then rots away. The time scale is the grand difference. Thank you Lynn Krawczyk for the fun and the prompting.
